East Jakarta Library and Archives Sub-agency Head, Imam Mulatip said, the extension of the library's operating hours refers to the decision of Jakarta Library and Archives Agency Head Number e-0029/2025 regarding Library Service Hours.
"The library services at the city level are available from Monday to Sunday with operating hours from 9 AM to 8 PM. It is closed only on national holidays and public leave," he expressed, Friday (5/23).

"For the night shift, there are two officers on duty to assist visitors. Hopefully, they can take advantage of the service to enhance reading culture and literacy," he expressed.
One of the library visitors, Evan Megananda (23), expressed that he was very happy with the availability of night library services.
"I can come with my college friends to study and work on our assignments at the library," he admitted.
He added the library facilities were very comfortable, including air conditioning.
"There are many book collections here that can enhance references and knowledge," he stated.
